Free paper-shredding event Sept. 26, 2020

Jackson Township’s fall cleanup is canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but residents in Jackson Township — including those in the City of Grove City and village of Urbancrest — may shred documents at no charge during a community paper-shredding event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept, 26, 2020 at Park Street Intermediate School — 3205 Park St. in Grove City, Ohio.

“We look forward to welcoming residents to the fall paper-shredding event, and thank them for their patience and flexibility while we all adapt to providing services in new ways during this health crisis,” said City of Grove City Environmental Supervisor Linda Rosine. “The City of Grove City is pleased to be able to provide this important service although the 2020 Jackson Township fall cleanup event is canceled.”

Residential paper shredding provided by Ohio Mobile Shredding is limited to four Bankers-Box-style boxes or four trash bags per vehicle. All are required to wear face coverings.

Residents must empty their boxes or bags of paper into bins, and retain their empty bags and boxes. More information is available at https://bit.ly/gcJTCup20, or call (614) 277-3058.
