Jackson Township Fire Department, along with its partners in public safety, has increased its level of personal protective equipment for its EMTs as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and as a preventive measure of protection from possible COVID-19 cross-contamination for its first responders and patients. 

Residents may see township EMTs wearing masks, gowns and eye protection as they arrive on the scene of a medical emergency. This additional PPE reduces possible exposure to our first responders and the public, and in no way definitively reflects a patient’s condition, nor does it confirm an infectious person lives inside the residence.
