Seeking Borror Road Improvements Project public comment

An Ohio Public Works Commission grant for $936,478 was awarded to Jackson Township for the Borror Road Improvements Project planned to address current and future traffic demands, utility improvements, pedestrian facilities and address other roadway deficiencies. The project will extend from Quail Creek Boulevard on the western end and continue east through the intersection with Buckeye Parkway.

Jackson Township in collaboration with the City of Grove City and the Franklin County Engineer’s Office is expected to spend $6,148,456 million on the improvements project that currently is in the detailed engineering phase.

A public meeting was held Oct. 9, 2018 at the Jackson Township Administration Office at which proposed improvements were presented, and public comment was sought. Those who did not attend still may submit public comment. Members of the engineering design team answered questions and reviewed project design completed to date. The public meeting included an unveiling of a right-of-way land acquisition exhibit.
