2017 Community Environmental Day sets record

The 42nd Jackson Township cleanup event was held May 6, 2017 at the Jackson Township Administration Office touting a new record with 567 vehicles averaging 113 cars per hour and marking a 20 percent increase over the previous high.

There were 302 tires collected; 113 visitors dropping off electronics for recycling; and 57 percent shredding documents.
