Donate toys, get free Pizza Hut menu item

Grove City Pizza Hut and Assistant Manager Michelle Allton, who is a single mother of six children including two sets of twins, created “Michelle’s Mission” to help Jackson Township firefighter/paramedics collect more toys for their Firefighters for Kids toy drive.

Anyone who donates a small toy will receive a free order of breadsticks; those who donate a medium-sized toy can select from cheese sticks or a personal pan pizza, and large-toy donors or residents who make a generous donation get a free one-topping medium pan pizza.

Allton and her employer joined efforts to help children in the City of Grove City, Jackson Township and village of Urbancrest not go without Christmas presents.

The Michelle’s Mission campaign began Dec. 4, 2014 and ends Dec. 21, 2014. The Grove City Pizza Hut is located at 2536 Columbus Street.

“We are grateful to area businesses who contribute to our toy drive,” said firefighter/paramedic Greg Rudduck. “Michelle’s Mission a win-win for donors and local children. Our fire engines have plenty of room to transport a lot of toys so we hope residents will show their support for this campaign.”

Toy donations are being accepted at any Jackson Township fire station, and the last day to register children for the toy drive is Dec. 5, 2014. Call (614) 875-5588 for more information.
