Grand opening set for Kickmaster Footgolf

Jackson Township residents Deborah Guzzo and Bob Clannin co-owners of Kickmaster Footgolf — the first-ever dedicated nine-hole footgolf course in the country — have set the grand opening for their new outdoor sports facility at 1700 Dyer Road in Grove City, Ohio for 4 p.m. Feb. 24, 2017. All are invited.

The new soccer-themed recreation park featuring a footgolf course opening in spring 2017 will offer fun for the entire family including a 10,000-square-foot athletic facility with inflatable soccer dartboard and soccer target challenge; soccer pool table; climbing wall and bubble balls.

The Kickmaster Footgolf facility doubles as a sports training facility and will have a golf simulator. Batting cages and pitching machines will be onsite, and soccer, baseball and softball leagues for youth and adults now are forming. Food and refreshments including hamburgers, hotdogs, candy, chips and beverages will be offered in an impressive 3,000-square-foot clubhouse.

Footgolf combines elements of soccer and golf on a modified course where players kick a soccer ball into a 21-inch diameter cup on a green using the same rules as golf. Go to kickmasterfootgolf.com or usfootgolf.org for more information.
