April 20, 2020 update: 2020 Safety Town canceled

Dates for 2020 Safety Town are set: June 4-5 and June 8-11. Safety Town tentatively will be held at J.C. Sommer Elementary School in Grove City, Ohio. Register prekindergarten children online by June 1, 2020 at gcsafetytown.org.

“If you have a child entering kindergarten, you do not want your child to miss this program,” said Safety Town Director Greg Tussing. “This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to get a sneak peek into life at school. Children will spend time in actual kindergarten classrooms, meet some of their future classmates, explore the school and play on the playground, all while learning valuable safety lessons that will stay with them for a lifetime.”

Safety Town is sponsored by the Jackson Township Professional Firefighters Local 2672 and presented in cooperation with Jackson Township Fire Department, Grove City Police Division and South-Western City School District.
