Two large Ash tree trunks at Jackson Township’s Tanglebrook Park located behind Fire Station 201 off Grove City Road are being turned into flying eagle, old wizard, Buffalo head and nickel woodcarvings by woodcarver Ted Scherer of Scherer Wood Forest Chainsaw Art of Galloway, Ohio. Scherer began his first Buffalo nickel carving June 19, 2017 and plans to complete the project in two weeks weather-permitting.
